Anybody else ever have problems with their rear drum brakes squeaking? I put new shoes on but they are cheep. Cleaned the back drum up and it stops squealing for a couple days. It will stop after i hit the brakes hard a few times, but if it sits overnight or if it is real humid out they are back to noisy. My friend said he had that prob and his rear drum was worn down. Mine looks good, im suspecting its the cheapo shoes i bought . I am currently looking for a new set of wheels. Anybody have any suggestions until i get a set?

I dunno, my brakes squeal almost all of the time. It looks like my drum has plenty of life left in it, the shoes are fine, no gouges or anything in either.

One of my friends on a sportbike always laughs at me when I stop by him. Not sure about other people noticing.

Mine squeaked for the first year or so and then quit. Not sure why they quit but I'm not complaining. My 2nd engine had new shoes so I used them with the old rim and so far so good at 1300 Chinometers on the clock.
