Wow...that's freakin hilarious dude. But seriously, i ride an '09 jonway wasp that's just too freakin high. When i put the kickstand down the bike almost tips over. I wanna lower the bike about 3inches.

You could get a shorter shock for the rear and depending on the front end of your scoot you may be able to loosen the clamps on the triple tree, slide the forks up higher into it, and re-torque. BTW I have never lowered a scoot before- just throwing ideas out there for u.

'Preciate that,niz76...good idea about a shorter shock out back. Come to find out that i can take the springs out the forks and cut about an inch n half with out sacrificing suspension travel....bike sits so high that the center stand is almost useless.

Here in Japan it is very common to low down the scooter. Sometimes so low that you can scratch ants off the road.
What they usually do here is cut the spring, as you already mentioned or they buy finished lowdown forks. For the rear they just change the rear shock. Sometimes they go so low that they extend the length of the scooter so that the rear wheel comes out and therefore allow more lower setting.

I've heard that removing the springs from front fork is a better ride than cutting them

Make some lowering blocks for your forks. Install them under your overload/bumpstop springs under the dampening piston. This way you don't have to cut your springs. It make a stiffer ride with less travel but if you wanna go back up you just remove them. I used a piece of 3/4" electrical conduet and tack welded washers to the end. Make sure the washers I.D. is large enough for the piston shaft to move freely. Be sure to deburr the inside and outside after you're done welding the washers on. You don't want something sharp wearing a hole through your socks. I lowered my front end 1-1/4" to match the lowering effect of the 6" stretch I built and installed.
