That's a narrow band O2 and gauge. Definitely not for a serious tuner. Wide band is the way to go if you want an oxygen sensor for tuning. The narrow band O2s are only intended to tell you if the air/fuel mix is above or below 14.7:1 (stoichiometric). They usually operate between 0V and 1V, and sweep a lot (the red/yellow/green bar gauges make a nice light show thanks to that). They will definitely let you know if it's way rich or lean though, or at least they do on cars. The only time I ever had my old narrow band meter tell me anything useful was just after a turbo install. It was so rich that I was washing out the rings. It told me it was rich. If the tune seemed OK to the naked eye, it seemed OK to the narrow band... even it it was on the rich or lean side. It may have some purpose, maybe certain gauges are better, but I'd only buy a narrow band setup for a cheap option if I were able to accept the possibility that it may do me little good. Then again it may work nice for a scoot, I don't know. I suppose some data is better than no data?
Wide band sensors have a greater voltage range and will give precise measurements of the AFR. Good wide band gauges (Innovate LC-1 for example) also allow for free-air and heater calibration to ensure accuracy.
I think exhaust gas temperature gauges are better for two strokes.

If the combo were to be used, exclusive 4t use would be advised since oil contaminates the sensor according to what I just read.

Koso does make an adapter to help prolong the life of oxygen sensors in 2 strokes. That's the main reason I said EGT would be a little better for 2 strokes. The other option could be using the gauge only as a tuning tool. A good bung kit often includes a screw in plug. Use the o2 only when tuning, take it out and install the plug otherwise. www.bikebandit.com/koso-air-fuel-ratio-meter-2-stroke-adapter
