I recently ordered a headlight assembly from these folks for my Tank 150. The price was right and was $15-19 cheaper than anyone else I found. However the 10% discount code Dave (the owner) gave me did show up at checkout I was still charged full price and after a couple emails and numerous calls I finally got ahold of Dave today and he said he's gonna refund the difference to me (not holding my breath). Another issue I've got with them was that I paid extra for UPS shipping and I received a USPS tracking number, when I mentioned this to Dave in todays conversation and he said it actually cost him more to ship it USPS priority mail than I paid for UPS. I tried to talk to him about that but he just shrugged it off. So I went back to his website and double checked the shipping and it turns out USPS was about $3.22 cheaper then UPS so I caught him lying to me. I ordered it on the 21st and its still not here as of the 27th. As far as I'm concerned I will not be ordering from him again for myself and anyone that asks I'll suggest they shop somewhere else unless they like to be lied to and lose money and shipping time. Thats just my worth.

Well it took 8 days to get my headlight from Elgin (just outside of Chicago) to Lafayette, but I got it in the mail today. I got my Koso tach from SIP in germany in 3 days but it took 8 days to make it 3hrs. away. Pretty pathetic shipping department if you ask me, and I payed extra for ups shipping but it was sent usps. I WILL NOT EVER recommend this shop to anyone.

I see this is a very old complaint, but I still think a response is warranted as we do keep pretty good records, and I am not a liar.

First of all this order was placed after we were closed on a Friday in January (the 21st). From January through March we are closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It is Winter here in Chicago so we cut our hours back.

This was shipped out on Tuesday the 25th. The reason for shipping usps priority, especially to neighboring states is it does not delay the order another day for pickup and it is usually quicker. We do not have daily UPS pickup during the winter, but the postman walks in our door every day.

As for overcharging you on the 10% off, I did apologize and we did issue you a refund on the 28th. At that time our new website was only a few months old and had a couple of glitches.

Again, sorry for your unpleasant experience with us.
