Hey gang,
Yesterday I had to bore out 6 cases and thought I would get a video of how I do it. I'm using a Taida case cutting tool.
This is not much different than the NCY case tool... I have not used the NCY case cutting tool before so I can't compare and contrast. But Taida's are awesome.... They also make one for the GY6 50cc and the GY6 B-Block (57mm stud spacing) ... I have those in the video as well but not featured.
I explain the stock size of the case opening and the absolute maximum tolerances. Anyhow, I don't expect this video will have a lot of fan fare because not that many bore their own case... A local machine shop will do it for around $50, the tool is 105.00 so unless you plan on doing multiple cases it may not be economical to buy one.... I also bought the other ones, but I do A LOT of work on these gy6 Engines.
So, enough with the rambling and let's get on with the show, shall we...
