how much of an improvement would one see from a koso variator?
was shopping online yesterday and seen a few of them for 30 bucks.
btw my variator engauges very slowly, especially the transitioning switch part.
i got cvt parts on order, aftrr tuning the cvt, is a new variator worth it?

What kinda speed did you get out if the bbk 33mph. vs the regular 40. but brent said in the other thread my contra spring might be the fault. then explained deeper.

Please go back and re-read my post, especially the last bit. My intention was to dispute the need for the contra spring and explain what you'd see if it were indeed contra spring related vs just being able to do a simple weight swap. I'd personally swap rollers if I didn't see the things I mentioned. A stiffer contra sprng will most likely increase RPM otherwise... increase resistance to opening the rear pulley... and decrease belt travel and speed even more. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/189149/thread
