Since I sold my Rally I've been looking for another scoot to take its place, and I found one. Its an 08 Velocity 150cc that some of you might recognize from Shiftless's collection. But its mine now, the price was right for what i got so I'm happy as hell. Here are a few pics I snapped of it. I got it with some of those mirrors they put on the cheap 50cc scoots that no matter how you adjust them all you can see are your shoulders. So I modded them a little to fit my needs till I can find the ones I really want. I went to my local hardware store and bought two m8x1.25(pitch)x30mm long bolts. Then I took the locking nuts off the mirrors and threaded them on the new bolts and threaded them into my mirror mounts. After a few minutes of checking them out in different positions I finally decided on the one that works best for me and tack welded them in place, took them back off and welded them up one the workbench. Here are a couple pics of the final result, not pretty but they work for my needs for now. Then I set out on trying to figure why it idled kinda rough and found this. replaced it with the one off the tank(temporarily) and it idled out smooth as can be. pretty safe to say that I'm EXTREMELY Happy with my purchase, especially after the ride 2strokd and i took when we got back to Lafayette from Indy. the roads were much clearer here then they were down in Indy.

It's good knowing that the previous owner is competent, and it's a great looking scoot. That mirror mod actually doesn't look bad. If you painted it, I'm sure a lot of people would never notice.

its been painted black to match but i took the pics before paint due to the heat from welding.

It runs freaking fantastic now. I even got some bling on it by changing out the cvt cover. I've gotta get the stuff for the kick start and put it on but I'm quite happy.

Oh he loves it all right! Good deal! Im glad you two worked that deal. A 150 four is better suited for Shakas needs. More torque! After we got back from Indy we went for ride and Jason was keeping up much better on his new ride.
