I just cleaned the plug and installed a brand new oem spark plug cap/boot, but after riding it for about five minutes it starts bogging and hesitating pretty bad. Its not a fuel issue, Im thinking the coil is going bad? Ive seen plug wires go bad on cars and arc, possibly bad plug wire? Is it possible to cut and use a plug wire from a vehicle instead of using a cheap chinese wire?
I tried two Different CDI's so I dont think thats the problem.
Anyone have any suggestions on telling for sure if it is my coil?

It's possible the plug cap popped off the plug so it's just siting on the plug loosely.
The new plug cap may faulty. One thing you learn about Chinese parts is that many of them are faulty right out of the box. Especially electrical parts. Try the old cap again.
Loose wire on the coil could cause an issue. Those little female spade connectors can be squeezed with pliers gently so they grab onto the coil better.

Fox, I did clamp the two spade connectors due to your suggestion. It didnt solve the problem but I am glad I listened to you. It was definitely a problem waiting to happen.

Carb might need adjusting just something to think about. Becouseif its bogging that's more or less a carb thing.
