I have a new state registration coming up. And Oregon dmv requires a lot more than California. Vin, working lights, engine, etc. Anyway when I changed my rear taillight assembly my blinkers stopped working. They work, they just don't blink. Except manually. My question is. Is there a blinking circuit? Or are the bulbs a double filament stle like the brake lights? The only thing that didn't line up evenly (wire wise) was ground wires. My Polaris office isn't loading otherwise I would look at the manual. Older jog style with rack 3 piece lights changed to flush one piece taillight assembly.

The bulbs should be a single filament. Check your flasher. They are usually mounted to the frame on most models.

Geeze, what an intrusive government you must have out there. No scooter inspections or registration here in Kentucky, and no vehicle inspections of ANY kind for any vehicles. This was a great change moving from NJ where the Gestapo DMV folks ruled with an iron fist. It usually took at least 3 days off from work to register your car and get it through inspection. No vehicle ever passed the first time through. They always found something even if they just made it up...which happened all the time. Horn too loud, horn not loud enough (same horn) turn signals flashing too slow, and then too fast. (same flasher unit) I am just amazed that we folks still put up with this crap. I am glad I moved.

Flasher relay went bad. Picked up a 12 volt heavy duty flasher relay for trailers.... is what the package said. Same connector style. Works perfectly now. Yeah the oregon dmv has its good and it's bad points. California dmv... You can't even get up to the desk in no less than two hours. But all you need is a i.d. And your set. Here you need your birth certificate, your title, if you don't own your car your fuc$ , You have to call the dealership have them verify payments, but then there's 2 year registration and licensing periods with the option of paying more for a 4 year registration or licensing opposed to renewing every year. And absolutely no lines. Like grab your ticket and walk to the counter.

I was very adamant about the blinker fluid. The guy Never even heard of it. Go figure right Katastroff .... Iwiketuddlz I got it at Napa auto parts . $3.29 they had both 3 prong and 2 prong. Just made sure it was a 12 volt. They couldn't cross reference the original relay with there stock. So the guy just grabbed a 12 volt 2 prong. For that price it was either it worked or it didn't. Researched online they said any 12 volt flasher relay would work. Except on LED's.
