Jog 72cc Problems!

Hey Guys its been a while!... Lots of stuff in life happening... but im back with a couple issues with my bike that has left me stumped

So a couple months ago I wiped out on my bike, and lay'd it down.. i assume the problems began there... everything ran well for a month or so after that, but eventually the carburator stated to leak gas out of the Air Intake side... so i ended up parking it for a month or so because i was too busy to get around to fixing it. Today I purchased a rebuild kit for the 28mm OKO carb i have... flushed the gas tank and fuel lines because it sat for a bit (Plus it rained like crazy the other day and im sure some water got in there) opened it up cleaned the main jet, replaced the idle jet, cleaned the carb in general, hooked it back up.. then fire'd her up.. she ran! but she consitantly bogged during the idle jets process...and would not idle.... confusing indeed.. atttempted to adjust the idle screw.. no avail... air gas mix.. nothin... decided maybe it was old stuff and tried to burn if off so i took a few trips up and down the road... on my last trip down it started to bog and sputter, then it shut off... it wants to start but bogs out after a second of it starting... Sounds like its starved for fuel or somthing Im not quite sure... Would really appreciate some incite! Thanks guys!

Currently have a 107M Jet and used the rebuild kit 48Idle Jet... (previously was using a 52Idle)

If it ran good with the 52 idle before.. Maybe you should put it back instead of the 48 and see if the problem persists.

Sounds like an air leak? What kind of filter are you using? Are you running premix or injector?

oldgeek: Using a UNI airfilter , Premix 40:1 Mixture

Seems like a waaaay to big main jet??? I'd try a #100 and see what happens!!!!

iwiketuddlz: It was running fine before the carb started leaking, and when i was able to get it running it ran great on the main jet, it just wouldnt idle, and had issues with the idle jet

Mmmm?? Well maybe an intake leak !!! Try spraying some carb cleaner around the intake area and both crank seals when the scoot is running and see If it makes a difference.... I dunno just an option I suppose...

Were you thorough with the carb cleaning... hitting all passages with carb cleaner and compressed air? Float isn't sticking or set wrong?

@90gtvert: Pretty sure i did a good job, ill take it apart and do it again.. when i get home today.. and see how it goes
