I found this interesting, and I wanted to pass it on. A local scooter shop I frequent ordered a long case 2T from Scrappy for one of their customers. Look how much room there is left after mounting a 130/70 12 tire. Does anyone know the bore size on these motors?

Maybe I am just loosing it 190mech! I was thinking there was no room for much larger than a 130/70 tire on a long-case. Possibly this one is just so shiny and new.

Wish I knew what size this huge tire was- it wasn't marked- but it's the biggest I've ever seen on a longcase! It was from my Baccio VX50 It's sitting next to a 120-70-12 for comparison.

this is the scrappydog 90cc engine? If it is, let us know the performance, if you don't mind. I'm considering attempting to put one into my r50x

I bought one at the end of 2014. Don't know if they changed anything on it since then. But, he'll ya. Torque...10.25 final drive. It runs really strong with my 260lbs on it . So if you weigh anything less than me you'll absolutely love it. Hoca 54mm, hoca variator, 21mm Dellorto open filter, tecnigas next R. Under $800 including engine. 60+ daily driver all day. Messaged Rick main about stroke, no reply. No doubt this engine has 70mph in it, with enough of them around. My Rear Tire is about 18" tall with about 4-5" of play between case.

It's very tempting. I'd want to make sure I wouldn't have to do any mounting point modifications. I can probably work my way through the rest of it fairly well. If I ever get the motivation, and cash, I'll post up about that...

I would love to know how old that BIG tire is. Numerical sizes are like 1990's era. Is there a date stamp to be found? Google keeps taking me to a farm implement store for tractor tires.

looking at the close up picture, with the tape measure there, im guessing the tape measures there because its measuring from the floor up. so, 20 from the floor from the bottom of the tire touching, to the top, is 20 inches. looking at the top, the tire seems to be about 3 1/2 inches of the measurement there, at the top. at the bottom, itd be another, 3 1/2 inches of the measurement. the total measurement is like 20 inches, so 7 inches off makes it a 13 inch rim.

If you look at the first picture in the group, you can see the tire says 12" But yeah it does look bigger.
