Broke away from work early today to do some scoot tuning.I drilled a jet and things got wierd again, idles well and if I go down hill it gets on the pipe..Always ran best with needle in richest notch.I pulled the needle(for the 100th time) and dug thru my jet pile, wow!I found a richer needle in there that was the right length, installed it and thats the best its run.Still seems lean at part throttle, might slim up that needle a bit more with sandpaper and a drill to turn it with.Think I got a 4stroke needle!

At least you found a needle lying around that can work and you are steadily heading down the right path. What are you thinking of this carburetor now that you're making it work a little better?
