I couldn't be more pleased, a total of $21- in materials. It is the time that counts the most - all the hours sanding and CLEANING add up. I started by washing all panels with Formula 409 and a soft brush, inside and out. You never want to rush the prep, dirt on the back side can be pushed out by the spray and spoil your efforts. Sanding and washing again while wearing disposable gloves keeps skin oil off. Allowing overnight to dry and a wipe down with 90% alcohol (the drug store kind) while wearing gloves. From Sherwin-Williams' automotive refinish generic (fleet) color fan - I chose American Blue 1/2 pint, reducer and hardener. Not all colors can be mixed in small quantities, might have to compromise. Allow flash off time between coats and there you have it. And let me add, one of the best things about using single stage urethane is you really don't need to use a primer. MIKE

Very nice work. And you got the nice paint gun! Wish i had something like that, would have done painting lot more easier and better results too.
As you already mentioned most of it is in the prep work. If you rush things you get not so good results.
