I found this site a while back so I could look at the radar image for more than the 5 seconds the TV news shows it. I bookmarked it and thought maybe a few of you out there might like to do the same thing. It's nice to be able to know when you are getting ready to get rained on without having to rely on the TV. www.weather.gov/sat_loop.php?image=ir&hours=24

I use www.weather.com . I just bookmark the page for my town and when I click it I instantly get the forecast and can watch radar or futurecast. I've used the radar to miss bits of ran for a long time now. It seems to be accurate, because I have dodged storms by steering clear of certain roads and small areas when it's splotchy.

Well it looks like our snow is done, and you may get some of the fall out your way. I keep a little radar widget on my desktop that shows the weather.com map.

WeatherBug is a great (free) phone app. Animated radar is reassuring when you are already on the road and trying to "run away". lol
+ my friend and former intern, Chris helped build the Co. ;D
