These any good? When I bought my scoot. The air box was missing screws and the foam filter inside is breaking.

Anything is good to use as an air filter as long as its letting air in and keeping crap out . I've seen old socks holding on to the carb with electrical tape.
As long as you adjust your carb accordingly, you could even use old undies.
Gives a news meaning to the word:" backfire"

Also that tube that connects to the original air box. Can I eliminate it?

You talking about the black hose from the valve cover? I seen it was disconnected on your outher post.that's a blow by you need to hook up some kind of catch can or it will blow oil all over. It was hooked up to the air filter that came with the scooter.

Your best bet is to go on eBay and buy a new air filter.the filter your looking at would be better if you had a bbk.the stock air filter is good for just about any set up you do on your scooter.I'd just get the same air filter that came with the scooter it will work fine.

I wouldn't ride it much until you get a air filter or a catch can for that valve line.if you do check your oil often.

"I swear babe, I didn't shart in my underwear! The scooter did it!"
