btw 2stroked sorry to hear about the tickets I am in the same boat but with my license. Hope all goes well I have to go to MD tomorrow from NC for Driving while license suspended. If there is anything I can do to help let me know.

Im still getting the evil stare from the local law, and even had one stop by my house Saturday just to tell me summer is starting and i better be cool. Oh, and i better not be running a repair shop :rofl: . These cheese-heads are all up tight about a wee lil scooter :devil: :tongue: :burnout: .... Im sure your tuning and building skills will get better once you get comfy with your scooter  . They are very addicting :help: |

Hey Bill, if you've got the tools and some mechanical ability you'll be performance tuning in no time. I'm with 2strokd about i'd rather build than buy, but we've all gotta start somewhere. BTW good luck in md.

Well just got back from MD. LOL They actually put me in jail for a night. Well actually 4 days that I had one day credit for so that brought me to 3 days then for every 4 days you get 1 day credit for good behavior so that brought me to 2 days and i guess that 11am to midnight is one day and midnight to 10 am is another day so they let me go in 20 hours on a 4 day sentence. Well at least that is all over. Got my money today so I am ordering some parts shortly. Will post back after they order. Oh yeah i got a chezzy vid camera so I guess I will do a How to video on this exact motor.

O, well i will be good until i get my butt to a safe place, then i might as well kiss my back tire goodbye because all this bent up frustration is gonna come out in some serious scooter riding    ...Followed close by some smoky burnouts  . I talked to my close neighbors (the ones i thought called). I mean, i dont wanna keep giving the evil stare and pay the local punks to TP their houses if they didnt do it . So i went over and chatted with them first chance i got. And the both of them said they liked my scooters and thought is was kick ass what i had done to them over the years. One of them is even interested in one now  . I believed them, i think it was someone on the other side of my block.?. Plus like my close neighbors both said, if it bothered them they would said something long ago, to ME not the police. The day i put my OR kit in and tuned it i was revving hard and high. It got pretty loud and i kept it WOT allot longer than i normally do when i cruise the hood. Im guessing that day did it? Then again the cop did say its been going on for over a year, but they say anything fro lies and expect the truth  . I just no i gotta keep it quiet around here now  |

How no-one's complained about mine I don't know. It's very loud and revvy, and I don't exactly chug round at 30.
Haven't even been pulled by the cops yet!

The only neighbor I have an issue with is the lady with the squeeling jack russel. Every time it made noise she'd pick it up and poor baby it. Now it just goes off if it see's anyone about. Sounds like it's being beeten with a stick. The stares that woman gives us, LOL. Privacy fence going up along that section this year I do miss the country sometimes. |

I'm not sure what the noise laws are there where you live Robert but you should be able to rev your scooter between 8am and 10pm as much as you like. The cops showing up at your house is bordering on harassment. I wouldn't stand for it. I would be down at the station with a formal complaint about that cop to the watch commander. To be honest I don't care for cops much. They're condescending pricks for the most part. You know what pisses me off is how the police can pull you over in a car because your muffler is too loud and while they write the ticket a Harley goes by twice as loud while a gardener is using a leaf blower across the street. Tree trimmers make tons of noise too. One cop wrote me a ticket for riding my scooter on the wrong side of the road because I went around a pot hole and when he pulled me over he parked his car out in the lane so everybody that passed by as he wrote the ticket had to drive on the wrong side of the road to get around his car. Brilliant!  I called the watch commander and complained and have never seen that cop in my neighborhood since and I beat that ticket in court. I wish there was a way to fine the cops for writing a bogus ticket. I wasted 1/2 a day in court when I could have been out making some money. |
