They were used for drainage when they built some roads, or the roads before the current ones. That is what I was told. I didn't go in the collapsed one I did go through the other.

Looks like fun. I've wanted to try something like that, but I've only got scooters and any trails I know of are hours away by car. Scooters in MD are registered as ORVs (off-road vehicles), but I have a feeling when you show up to a dirtbike and ATV trail on one it's a no go. I just want to piddle around and explore a bit, but I'm guessing some of the trails are pretty much impassible for a scooter. Really don't know much about 'em. The only place near enough to ride the scoot to that I know of is Assateague Island, but that's a beach and I know the scoot and I can't handle that. They don't let any 2 wheelers at all out there anyhow.

And where are the birds? Man, even at the end of the world they manage to put a graffiti on the wall, or was it you Ryan? Would love to drive through such a scenery with a dirt bike, very nice.

My gopro died so I didn't get the rock climbs over 2-3 foot boulders. My buddy has 4x4 on his and was amazed I could get up there. That's the pic overlooking the highway. I would think if your register as off road you "should" be permitted. I wouldn't try it with a scoot.

Great pictures, thanks for posting. I used to love riding off road on my trial bikes about 25 years ago. a lot of the trails we used to ride as kids are closed to vehicles now.
