I know it's been a while lots of things have gone on in the l8ng time it's been sense I've been on here
The job I took 2 years ago had me move and I have no garage the fiance and I ride our scoots around town every now and then but no big scoot trips
I have gotten into restoring apache pop up campers they are a hard sides pop up and this weekend we will be off to the second event of the apache camper misfit club after several of us were removed from the preservation society

It's been a great weekend camping We have 8 campers in our group The fall colors are awsome and so was the hybrid redneck rally Have you ever seen a school bus wheelie or a semi truck pulling a wheel off the ground If not and you ever get a chacne to come to one of these events it's awsome

Well I stopped by and gave Brent some news. As it turns out I’m now unemployed and unless I get a new job with a company vehicle my scoot may get put back into seasonal daily service But we have added to the fleet sense my last visit a 1983 Yamaha xs400 it’s a bit of a project I have to either rebuild or find a replacement starter no kick start We also bought a house and have been married for just over a year now We rescued a little dog and upgraded from the pop ups to a hotel on wheels as we call it

I'm sure the house and marriage have kept you busy. Time to get the scoot back on the road.

I had one, a basket case. I gave up on it and started with the 2T scoots. I still have some parts laying around, like a front wheel and some front parts, if you need them. They are in rough condition though.

Wow had a few xs 250's and 400's decades ago all cheap usually because they wouldn't start on kick or electric start. Mainly due to the electronic black box which was a fairly new concept then and cost about 3 to 4 weeks wages them days unlike now where electronic units are so cheap. They usually had to be bump started which even for me being a lot fitter then was a pain because they were heavy old sods. 😊

Over all she is in pretty good shape. I have pulled he starter as it would spin very slow when it would spin. Pulled it jumped it with a car battery and still would barley spin. Tried cleaning it up it helped for one crank session then back to slow spinning even with a car battery
