I run an electric pump from a Toyota Prius it has 5/8" connections and draw is about .35 amp. It has good flow. You will also need a block off plate for the oil pump area without a fan shroud the rotor/stator could easily get hit with a rock. I just made one from sheet metal. When choosing a radiator location make sure you have as much open area behind radiator as possible or you won't cool as efficiently.

After doing a lot more research and a few suggestions from you guys, I think the electric water pump is the way to go. I also got in contact with scoot-tuning and they strongly suggested to go with the electric pump. They also told me the water pump drive bolts will not fit the Zuma case, they are too short.

So I pulled the trigger on this mofo www.maxiscoot.com/cylindre-culasse-metrakit-pro-race-3-70cc-mbk-nitro-mk800a0536.html. Once you sign in at maxiscoot and go to the checkout there will generally be a discount. I got the cylinder for 224 euro. I also ordered a Bosch electric water pump from them as well. Now the waiting game, the cylinder is back ordered 3 weeks I guess. Next question I guess would be, how are you guys wiring your electric pumps? So they come on with key or a separate switch? I'm thinking the key method would be the way to go???

I'm working on a couple deals right now for a Genuine Keihin PWK 28mm carb. One of them is brand new and been sitting on the self for years, and the other is used but comes with a throttle cable. Both of them are for a Honda CR85.

I've never used the polini carbs. I've used the PWK Keihin carbs on probably 8 motors. I've got tons of jets for them over the years probably the reason I continue to use them. They used to be touchy to set up until I realized I was using the wrong needles. I use the kx85 needle now which is richer and has a nice transition to it. Eliminating lean spots for me.

Way to go! Better than all those replica's! How's the Polini PWK's? I got a screaming deal on one when I got my cylinder. Dunno, don't use them and probably never will...but they're not from the Keihin factory thats for sure.... Looking at the Polini PWK they seem to look just like one of those copies where there are so many of. Most of the times you can immediatly see if a PWK type carb is a genuine Keihin or not. The material has different color, casting details are different, the part that goes into the intake boot looks different. Some of them copies don't have a powerjet and some are in a size that Keihin doesn't even produce (24 and 21mm). I don't know why a brand like Polini sells (replica/copied) carburetors when there are high end competitors like Kehin of Mikuni. Fuel metering systems are just too much of a specialty. And i don't think Polini can make something better out of a stock TM or PWK carbs and sell them cheaper as a Stock PWK or TM. Polini sells cheap replica's if you ask me. I wouldn't buy one. You know, fuel metering is such a important factor in two strokes...you want to rule out all possible problems there. I only use genuine carbs and only use Dellorto, Keihin or Mikuni because they have carbs in their portfolio for every possible application. You don;t have to look any further than those three manufacturers.
