Does the Keihins use jets sizes like Mikuni or Dellorto? When they use mikuni sizing idk whats a good ballpark size...Might even be somewhere around 220. If its dellorto size i would start with 140 en go from there.

If I had to guess you should be around the #145 range with a open filter or at least that's what the miniquad guys run around my neck of the woods but they are 90cc engines... For s reference I run a -#115 with the same carb but I have a restricted air filter (alien eye).... Anyway I'd get jets from 120 to 160.........

I think your jetting will be fairly low 110-130 main, 36-48 pilot. All of my previous 100cc builds used 140-150with a 42-48 pilots. My MHR 77 with a 142 I could not even more 10 ft it was so rich. I think because they are LC, smaller cc and have a better port layout make them more efficient and have such a smaller jet compaired to a ac motor. On my 77 I'm at 115/38 and I'm still fairly rich.

This is why jetting is so weird. I know another guy with 77, c30, 28pwk and he is running a 140 main with a somewhat restricted filter.

Obviously elevation and probably premix ratio has something to do with it also. That's still crazy I couldn't get up to speed with anything above 130. Is he running genuine keihin jets mine are. I think

I think jetting is related to engine efficiency or flow. The more air your engine flows, the bigger your jet needs to be. I think if you're low in jets the venturi size is off (i think too small) or your engine is internally (flow wise, port size, durations) not at its best (with comparable setups).

Parts are starting to show up. I have my radiator, air filter main jets from 98-150 and a 10 pack of pilot jets. According to my tracking info the carb and intake will be here tomorrow or the next day. My water pump and hoses are being held till my cylinder shows up. Apparently the Pro Race 3 is a bitch to find. Maxiscoot has been good with sending me updates about my order. If they can't get it, I'll probably switch to the Polini EVO 3. I really don't want to, but I guess it is what it is. I'm starting to put money aside for an MVT inner rotor, and hopefully a Yasuni C21. The C21 will probably be I bit down the road, so I hope my C16 will do the trick for the time being.

The thing sounds like it's gonna be a monster. A sexy one at that! And I can't hardly wait to see it all put together I'm sure that it'll run just fine with the C16, just a bit de-tuned. It'll still make you smile though, that I'm sure of.

That c16 will make it a torque monster! You still might get 16-17hp when tuned right! The c21 will get you just beyond 20 if you do a damn good job.

Bravo! Excellent job with the trim and the placement. I do believe that you've set the bar much higher. Like, seriously, excellent job.

I haven't finished mine, but I was going to start rich with a 170 on a mhr 77, 28mm pwk and roost 77 pipe. I know that's way too big, but that's what I was gonna do. You'll probably be safe to start with a 150.
I'm paranoid of blowing my motor though so, yeah

I've read the JJK is good, but have zero first hand experience with these carbs. What needle is in your Polini PWK? I would assume it would come optimized to work on these small motors.

Give me a few minutes and I will look... I keep forgetting that I have no tools here. I don't have a screwdriver to take the top off. Guess you'll have to wait for Ryan to answer in the morning or maybe Lucas.
