I'm not really into VWs too much, or old scoots (Vespa/Lambretta I guess)... but that's pretty trick. Their styles fit quite nicely together.

Lambretta (I'm sure.) LD 150 (I'm guessing.) Your good Yup, after looking at more pics that's your baby. Vespa would be more VW like. Roundy back panels.

Air cooled engines with a case instead of a block...pistons just slide in. Easy to work on, high performance and OEM parts are readily available and fun fun fun!. My first VW was a 72. I have had 2 67's (the best year model) and an 86 camper. I regret selling any of them!

I think it's coo. Looks like a '67. I had one for a few years until I a guy pulled out in front of me.
I think I would paint the scooter to match.

I want an old bug bad for my sons first ride! My pop had one when i was really young. He got it from my grandparents. It had sentimental value because he had to drive it in highschool when he didnt have wheels or he had his car apart. All the kids(my aunt and uncles) used ti like that. My pop got it after it was all worn and tired. He ended up building the heck outta that thing. I remember the back end up in the air on blocks and my dad pulling the motor and trans out. When he was done it was a nasty mean lil bug! Slicks, cage and wheelies. I got a pic somewere of it doing a wheelie over a tallboy beer can lol. That car was fun and cheap! Only go bout 90-95MPH but get there as fast as you could shift it!

I've seen VW dragsters like these blow away small block V-8's at Pomona. It's frigging awesome.

Now there's a VW I could get into! ...Although if I were gonna spend the cash and build a dragster... it'd be a V8. lol

He should give that Lamby to me immediately and get an old VBB Vespa. hehe I don't much care for VWs, but ya got to give that Devil his due. It's a very nice rig he's got there. RD
