Yes, it is funny as the crooks are stupid, as usual but, damn, why do folks think it is ok to take stuff that does not belong to them? That is very sad in my opinion. They should have rigged that bike with explosives under the seat, then we would have had some justice. OK, maybe not explosives but, a hidden battery and 300,000 volts would have worked well too.

We had a program here a few years ago setting up stings like the bike one. They had a really nice mountain bike they used to leave outside shops. When the thieves tried to ride off the steering was the wrong way round. If the steered right they went left

He drew two lines on the pavement about 10 feet apart and challenged anyone to ride it across both lines without putting their feet on the ground. You had to pay a dollar to try it and if you won he would give you $5. He had a crowd gathered. After watching a bunch of people fail I tried it and failed a few times. Then after the crowd thinned out he let me try it for free and I did eventually do it but it took a bunch of tries. Found a video of another guy doing the same thing.

I posted the scooter one here awhile back. I do get a chuckle every time I watch it. Although the more I watch it the more I wonder how much of it is staged. The little kid in me wants to believe its real, only because I still want to laugh every time I watch it.
