Yeah they're super cheap but are no use on this build. Im gonna keep it stock and keep all the stock parts including the stock airbox and intake parts. Im gonna keep myself from diving into another moneypit.

Yesterday i started cleaning up the fairings. Man, what a mess they were (so is my workbench!).  I wiped off the spray paint with paint thinner and then buffed them up a bit with some paint cleaner. There's lot's of deep scratches and the front fairing needs sanding. But the original black metallic paint is still there!  I decided to paint the wheels black and thats it for this update. |

Did some work on je moeder today. Painted the wheels and lower fairings gloss black, worked out alright. Also painted the front fork and 'belly-pan-underneath-fairing-kinda-thing in bed liner or under body paint or whatever its called...tectyl 190 stuff. Its standing on its wheel now finally so i can move it around easier. Next time im gonna red tywrap every cracked or non closed up fairing together. From there on its just building it up and stuff should move quickly.     |

Yeah, i should pay some more attention to je moeder. Not really motivated though, I also have a blown tranny from the Volvo I need to replace. The axis also needs attention because i neglected to fix some minor things i guess.

Those goddamn vehicles always need attention  I don't even dare to think to have every single repair done by a shop instead of doing it myself... |

I rode je moeder today! I made some real progress the last couple of days. Got the mechanical stuff kinda sorted out first. The motor fired right up with the first kick! It needs some heavier rollers and i've raised the mj from 66 to 74 which seems ok.   When i have all the plastics sorted out ill post some more pics and maybe a short vid. |
