You sir have a point!!! But it would end up costing me more on account of me having to buy a new crank and exhaust as mine only works with my cylinder...ugh For 400 bucks you can get a Athena 12mm crank, Athena 70cc Evo and the crank bearings. And you still can beat any slow poke, sorry i mean 4 stroke, out there. And it still will make braaaapbrapbrap...

Never go backwards man. Go bigger and faster the next go around. If it needs to sit for a minute while you get some cash together so be it. You know you'll miss that power if you go to a milder set up. If anything buy a second scoot to daily, and keep this one for weekend WOT blasts.

Ha yea y'all are right...I can't see myself getting used to anything milder than the evo.!!!! So I'm just start fresh this time new crank bearings and all... Basically the whole works again... But this time I will not try and get rid of that low rpm stutter that just costed me $400.!!!! Because I'm annul about how my engine runs it ended up costing me .....ugh still pretty pissed about it though naturally

If your riding style has you in the part throttle more than you would like. And it is kinda unavoidable. You may fare better with a smaller throat carburetor, and having a higher velocity at the needle. This is explained better here: lower middle of page. www.mid-atlantictrials.com/OKO.html Mind you this is trial's bikes that are a different application & CC. But the general theory, makes sense. I also agree with 190 on the lean scavenge effect. I can see this on My MHR, it runs cooler at WOT, and part throttle acceleration, on a slight hill will make the temps higher than WOT.

Thanks for that corosion...!!! Hell my cht gage quit last week or else I'm sure I would have noticed the temp spike.. And possibly saved it.....Ugh once agin I have zero luck ......
But hey!!!! ...everything happens for a reason..!!!

JMO but I feel that is excellent advice, based on sound theory.28mm is a lot of carb for a bike that is not on the racetrack.Bet you would also find it pulls from start much better.

Around what size do you guys think I should go with this time? I'm working on getting the cash together ASAP to get the evo back on the road!!!! Also guys I have been running this evo for 8months now at around 1/4 throttle the entire time with the n80f needle.... Only when I switched to the JJH did I have a problem...

I know my setup isn't for daily driving... But I just love to know I have enough power to get somewhere!!!! Ha And I love to show off as well Woot Hey young and dumb right???gots learn sometime, it just seems to cost me a hell of a lot more on account of me being a speed demon and all
Also I'm thinking of selling my iggy to help the process out and just use my stock stuff it ill I can afford another iggy....

Never settle for less. You spent a guap on the motor. Plus your at the top right now. No one can touch the evo's displacement except maybe a more expensive evo. I'd wait till next year. "Right around the corner" if that's what it took to get back on top and running again at full potential. 60mph is great. But 80 is a lot better with a automatic twist.

Thanks for the encouragement guys!!! I'm definitely Gona wait and just start saving to buy a new cylinder/piston/and ring.......man after looking it over agin I'm missing about half of my ring!!!!! Also the line up pin for the ring somehow pushed itself in towards the center of the piston and is sticking threw the other side!!! Wow this thing got hot hot!! Also what size carb do y'all think I need to go with this go around???

Maybe a 24mm carburetor.... Also I agree with PIG that getting anotger scoot for daily duties is a good idea. Then brap around on the Big EVO on you days off.
