Has anyone done this? The plus and the minuses of having it done. I seen where JC Racing does it for $65 plus shipping.

I had a machine shop do one for me and 190mech lightened two for me. 0.060" was removed on the other edges to take them from 755g to 665g. I've seen people remove material from the front as well for additional weight savings. I can't really say it makes a lot of difference either way, but it should help the engine to rev a little faster without having to spin up that extra weight. Heavier flywheels should improve idle and low end feel.

It's quite common here. If done properly the weight of the flywheel can be halved without compromising it's integrity. If it's also balanced it can make quite a big difference to the ride.
