Sorry to hear about this. I'm glad to hear it's the shop and not the house though, and I'm guessing no one was harmed.
If you haven't already, I wonder if maybe posting a craigslist ad like this may be helpful in your search for a cleanup crew.

The heat from the flames melted the vynal sideing off the neighbors house. The flames were 60 ft high man it went up like a shutter. 3 dogs killed. The cleanup crew has been veto'd...looks like its up to just me. God what a mess. |

I have a family member (my 70 y/o father) who is pretty weird about ppl coming onto his property even though its his dam property that we are improving, withtout cost to him. I will never understand it.....Many of you probably know someone like this...
He has no Idea what a giving sort of people the scooter community consists of.
So it appears that I am going to have to do tis myself. I need a metal detector if anyone has one that I can rent.

let me see maybe I can get the box truck from work Thanks for the offer but its obvious that he would rather use his 2010 F-150 to haul the junk to keep these strangers off his property instead of what you are offering or his old beater 1986 toyota (makes no sense to me), I deeply appreciate the offer. |

Sorry to hear about the dogs especially. Thank you Brent, I cried for 3 days. I cannot go into specifics...and I still think of them quite often. Rocky (Hairless Chinese Crested) Pedro (Toy Rat Terrier) Snoopy (Dachound)-sp Willie- Rat Terrier Amazingly, the dogs that were in the garage made it out when the sliding glass door leading out on my grill deck popped. Ironically the ones above were outside and sleeping in an area that there was no escape. I had figured the ones inside would be goners and the ones outside would run. The heat and flames prevented their escape. I buried them. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I dont know what else to say. I have about 60,000 worth of tool and the pressure of the hose just blew all my tools everywhere. god what a mess. I feel like I am standing at mount everest base camp and MUST climb it. Thanks for letting me vent my friends. |

So sorry for your loss. I quess all you can do is work on what you can do something about. Sounds like a lot. I definitely know folks like your dad. The climb will get you over to the other side.

Man i am very sorry to hear this speedy. I am so sorry you lost your dogs.
None of this was your fault and there isnt anything you could have done to stop it.
