Blu that is an adorable pup. My son would love to have an Aussie but sadly no dogs allowed cause a previous tenant had a dog that attacked and bit the landlord. However, we currently have a huge rabbit and 11 cats. Had a ferret as well till she passed from old age last fall. 4 of the cats are kittens, was 5 kittens but sadly we lost little Loki. He started having seizures when he was 7 weeks old and he was exhausted after them. He was sleeping outside next to me as I worked on my scooter one day and I left him sleeping while I went inside to check on my son who wasn't feeling well. While I was inside my idiot of a neighbor ran over him (he was less than 1 foot from my scoot and about 5 feet from the driveway). She never even apologized and he never screamed or anything. She comes to me saying he was having another seizure. He suffered in pain cause she wouldn't fess up to what she did. I'd got him to a vet if she just admitted she ran over him. Instead he went into shock, had more seizures and died. Found out about her running over him the next day when her kid asked me if Loki was OK after her mom ran over him. He was so sweet, a silver-tipped chocolate tabby (means he had black & chocolate brown stripes).

Our old cat isn't eating today and she's too thin and old for that. My wife and son are in Tennessee and I'm really hoping Brownie doesn't die while they're away. Maybe it would be better if they weren't here. It's been upsetting my wife to see her near her end. Poor little stank breath kitty. Attachments:

Its hard when you can do nothing for them.

This is my 6 month old Great Dane Kaine @ 97LBS now. I was taking up some floor in the kitchen and he jumped in to help.

I knew of course they were big, but didn't realize they got that heavy. Just did a quick search about their height and weight and I see they sell water/food bowls that are a foot or two off the ground for them. I guess nothing will be safe on countertops and so forth either with a pup that big. Be sure to get us a pic when he's looking down at you.

I no longer feel that my 6 cats are a bit much. I also have a rabbit, I told my boss I would take her after her ex gave her to her daughter for easter. This was before I learned they can live 14 plus years, she has been a good bunny, had her for 5 years now. That is going to be one BIG dog. Champer ( stood for Champion Big Dog ) was 135, and he would be almost half that Great Dane. Impressive. Hope he doesn't take a liking to ripping up floors

Our other Dane could stand flat footed and drink out of the kitchen sink when I turned the faucet on.

Were taking up the vinyl and putting laminate so he won't be able to eat that one I hope, he has ate a cd or two well mainly chewed them up. We got him a towing rope to play with it's about a 1 1/2 inch thick and 3ft long he loves it. Him and the pit bull play tug all the time.

He shouldn't be able to chew laminate flooring. The finish has aluminum oxide in it. Very hard. Watch out for the reducer or T- moldings though.

That's a good idea, all pets find it hard in the hot weather. My Dog likes to drink from the shower. She will sit and wait till someone walks past the bathroom, then let them know she wants a drink.
