This is my wifes dog "Buddy", the laminate floor tiles he's laying on are 9" squared. He's a chocolate lab/rot mix. Believe it or not he was the runt of the litter but now he towers over all his siblings by a good 6-9" at the shoulders. Here he is doing his favorite thing, picking his nose with his tongue. Better than licking himself I guess. Thats my son with him, 13yrs. old and stands 6'1" and as skinny as a toothpick. We just had to go and buy him some new pants, we do this about every 3 months because he outgrows the length. He's up to a 36" inseam now, I don't know if my checking accounts gonna be able to keep up with his growing rate. Its hard to see by the angle of the pic but my son and Buddy are actually sitting at the same height there. Darn good dog, just as loyal as they come, and EXTREMELY protective. My son and i can't horse play in Buddy's sight, I learned that the hard way when I had to get 13 stitches in my arm from Buddy protecting him.

That is certainly a hoss of a dog. That's one way to use the Buddy system to protect yourselves.

Henry fit through that door? Looks like the coast is clear  You gotta appreciate a good big dog. We had Champ, as in Champian Big Dog, and don't ever expect to have another like him. 135 pound Lab/Nuf mix. He let us take care of him His buddy was a 4 pound pomeranian. Sigh. Never had a Rotty, but I hear good things

 , lol, no kiddn. "can i have a lil gas please?" Here is what you can catch my dogs doing most of the time. lol i walked by this morning and thought i should get a pic. Torque on one side of the table And Tiny on the other Its funny seeing Tiny sleep sometimes because his ear will pop up like that when he lays down. Its his way of letting everyone know he is listening :paranoid: . He has his own bed but he lays all over the house.

Does Tiny lay in doorways and in the middle of rooms? Bingo does that. Walk around a corner and hear him scuffling as you are putting your foot down. I end up cussing him at night cause I'll almost step on him. I'm actually scared I'll hurt him, not really mad.

Yep, sure does...Same deal! He only really does that at night or when there is a storm tho. He wants to be close to someone so he will sleep right by the door. He is so black that you dont see him at night and right when your about to step on him you hear those nails and feet scuffling around trying to get the heck outta the way. Then like you, im cussing the dog because 1. we woke up the whole house. 2. im about to piss my pants because the dog scared me so bad. 3. the dog is about to piss the pants he dosnt have cause he was just woke up by a screaming human ranting and raving.

Yup, black dogs are the worst. We all go shoeless in the house, if you feel something soft, Pull Up! LOL, now you realize hairless dogs don't like going outside in the winter, so really if you feel something soft, Pull Up! (they're pretty good about using papers in the bathroom, but once in awhile :scared: )

Yeller looks friendly. I went to a friend's house last night. The guy that owns Isabella that I mentioned earlier. His GF moved backed in and brought her dog back, Bandit. I'm not sure what Bandit is, but he's about a foot tall and fearless. This tiny little dog will bark and growl at a big pitbull that looks quite unfriendly next door and pull on the leash, like lemme at 'em. Bandit did the same thing to a giant black lab that used to be next door. He goes at Isabella and threatens her away too. lol It's pretty funny to watch, but I don't think he has any idea how small he is.

If a guy ever knocks on your door looking like this Jason, it's probably me. Damn, I needed a good laugh Brent thank you. He's a really good dog, just extremely protective of my wife and kids AND he doesn't know his own strength. I know he didn't mean to break the skin, if I thought he did he'd been dead along time ago.
