She was probably crying due to being in heat.
I kind of doubt that is her 4-5 month old kitten. Males usually take a lot longer to reach maturity.
Sounds like they both need 'fixed' or YOU will have a cat colony. Call the vet and explain the situation. Animal control may help. I don't know exactly but I don't think they can fix a female that is in heat or knocked up.

Around here the city will provide a trap, document where the cat was caught, "fix" the broken cat, clip it's ear, and finally release the cat back to where it was trapped. I think that is a pretty good program.

yeah , I wondered if she might've been crying cause of being in heat ; but I know they are hungry too.
the male in the pics is not her kitten . kitten wasn't there that morning. looks just like the mother only not mature, smaller. no black stripes
oldgeek, they had that program when I was in Gainesville .good program . don't know about here in Orlando.

Goggles interfere with their gamma ray transmission.

Missy being quiet and contented with Yolanda. The other pic is not a pet but a bee I saved from being stomped on put him outside on a dandelion. A little while later he flew away.

Nigel the cat looks like a bruiser in the first pic, but it looks like he's a big baby. Awesome.

well, not a pet but it's kinda cool when these guys come around.these big ones usually come around by themselves or in pairs and there's a smaller version that comes in a group of 5,6,7,. there's a hedge right across the street about 6ft. tall by 3 wide , and no lie, I saw a big one land right on top of it and walk across the top for about 12 feet . must be pretty sturdy branches .
