I'm also into minibikes. got 4 new ones and an old 1970 Pak Jak. the Pak jak is 1 of about 4 known to still exist and is serial no 40. I have an account over on the old mini bikes forum that I posted the pak jak on a few years ago and was told it was the best looking one ever found.
the other bikes are just some newer ones that aren't anything special, the little yellow one has a 6.5hp engine from when harbor freight sold the blue "greyhound" brand engines before they had the predator brand ones.
just thought I'd share

Very cool. I worked mowing lawns back in the early 70's and bought a Comet mini-bike. It was pretty advanced as it had a front suspension and, folding foot pegs so if you leaned too far over, they folded instead of wrecking you. It also had Bendix back brakes. 3.5 hp Tecumseh stock, but when that blew, I put a 5 hp on it. Some of my friends were running torque converters but I just ran the old centrifugal clutch. Those things were great and I rode for miles and miles in the fields around where I lived. We even held races on the frozen lake down the street from me. No sheet metal screws in the tires, just the basic mini bike tires and you could slide sideways the entire circuit of the track we laid out.
Ah, those were the days.
Very nice bikes man.

My cousin had one like the green one but his was orange. We used to run the piss out of that thing. Lol We used to reach down and pull the governor linkage to make it go faster. It's a wonder that we didn't blow it up. Sometimes I wonder how we didn't kill ourselves.

Have you guys ever seen the youtube vids of minibikes beating motorcycles in a drag race on the streets? If not, I will search and amend my post. It is really great. I know from my Go-Kart racing days that a 5hp Briggs can make 15 HP with some simple mods. Some of these minibike guys have a ton of money in their engines. It is fun to watch them smoke some pretty expensive street motorcycles.

I have seen some really expensive Monkey bike builds at shows. Some people think nothing of throwing 5-10K at them. Turbo, nitrous custom frames. Bolting a turbo on a bike weighing 90KG will beat a lot of street bikes

Here is just one of these videos:
I mean, that is an old school mini bike...or at least it was, ha ha. There are many more vids like this if you look at the related section. Ah, the power of a 4T.
