Some of you may be thinking of an instrument to aid in doing a job, some of you may think I have just insulted you. The TOOL I refer to is of the musical experience that I will be having sensory coitus with on January 26th in Charlotte! That's right, even though Ticketmaster crashed for most over the PC orders then sold out in less than thirty minutes, I decided to pay WAY too much for floor tickets. After all, this may be their last show, if my feelings are right.
Anyone else going to feel the rhythm, feel connected, witness the beauty, ride on the spiral?

Crowds of people aren't really my thing so I haven't been to a concert in years, but I've watched Tool concert stuff on YouTube. Even when they were relatively new to touring they sounded good. Some of the more recent stuff is really impressive with how well they can reproduce what's on the album. That's hard to do, and some bands that play songs thousands of times never really make it sound just right live.

I agree on the not liking crowds anymore. Last time I saw them I had fifth row, actual seats, which helped. I'm not too thrilled for this general admission floor thing this time. I'm too old to fight for a decent view. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle Carolina rebellion this summer. My girlfriend likes to get all up into the mess, I like to stay off to the side and enjoy the show. I guess I'll see lol

And yes, tool is great live. I've seen them two other times, almost spot on. They're my favorite live, and not live, artists, second to nine inch nails.

Tonight is the night! After having a change of delivery method for the tickets I initially ordered, and then the snow storm slowing delivery down to a halt, I almost thought that I might miss this. But, the nice people at Vivid Seats were very courteous and helpful They got me email delivery tickets and even refunded me the difference in price since the prices went down since I ordered them. Also my shipping charges for the tickets that never made it. I am quite surprised that they do such good business. Maybe they feel bad for letting their sellers charge over double the face value of tickets. That's a whole different rant. One that I am very passionate about, how the rip off is ruining the experience for the last left concert goers.
Anyways, 10.5 hours, baby!

twas a pretty good snow wasn't it?
made for some err.. exciting scooting for me it did
wonder what would happen if a scooter rider got passed by a scraper truck when he had the blade down
bet it wouldn't be pretty

Oh I will, lol.
Man, I went 4 days without riding, my mood was shit. I've been so much better since getting to ride again! The ice is still trying to get me though. I'm not a fan of multiple snow days one bit!
