Have you checked your speeds with a GPS device? Scoot speedo's tend to be notoriously optimistic- even on Malaguti's! My speedo says I'm doing 80mph! In reality though, it's 60 mph GPS...

Just ordered this you think it was a waste ? Also ordered a stage 6 torque control clutch S6 r/t clutch bell and some stage 6 white springs , still wanna get the over size torque control rear pulley

A waste? Cool parts for scoots are never a waste! Haha. Many of us just vent our CVT covers with holes but that cover is pretty cool. I (and many others) use "Ulysses speedometer" app for android on my phone as a GPS speedo. Many other apps available that do the same thing also. There's a really cool app for Iphone that shows GPS speed while recording video. i wish it was available for Android also.
Acceleration in your vid isn't too shabby! That pipe you're running is pretty peaky meaning it has a narrow power range. If you can get your clutch to engage closer to the RPM range your pipe makes power in, then you'll have an even better takeoff! There's lots of other little CVT tricks you can do also to get a good launch- for example I like to space my vari faces as far apart as possible so the belt sits nice and deep between them for best "1st gear". I usually go as far as to even shave the faces down so the belt can sit deep down in right on the drive boss..

well i ordered the stage 6 clutch so i will tune around that with different springs , i have a question niz, im thinking of changing the ignition the complete thing you think the stage 6 ones thats almost 400$ is to much with the stock motor i have not put the 70cc stage 6 sport cylinder on yet cause i have not figure out what crank i want to go with i was thinking top proformance but im thinking of just sticking with everything stage 6.

I haven't delved into the world of inner rotors/aftermarket ignitions yet but many here have! From what I've read the stock stator is good to around 12k or so... Seems like overkill on a stocker but once you start getting into the go-fast goodies I'm sure it will shine! Some of those don't have lighting coils (to run your headlights) and/or charging capabilities (to charge your battery) so choose wisely! Like I said, others here have more experience in that area than me!

If you're running it on the street and need lights and whatnot then most everyone goes for the MVT digital Direct.

Thanks spaz I'm trying to find out about the stage 6 one to if it's good for lights if not I guess I can go with the plain mvt one even tho the stage 6 one is nice looking . it's gonna be a street scooter. So I'm gonna need lights. Just a fast street scooter lol. Stage 6 doesn't really have much info about it being good for lights or not can't really find anything online either
