so here is my build in progress alot still to do , finally got it running perfect , this scooter sat since 2006 in a storage locker. its been a little pain only because i never worked on a scooter before but there is great support on this forum and 90vert spaz and oldgeek are great. now so far upgrade wise ,stage6 variator stage tourqe spring,stage 6 exhaust  stage 6 intake manifold and reed vavle dellroto 17.5mm carb which i will be upgrading and yes canned the auto choke for a manual choke new fuel lines and petcock. need to get this speedo fixed pretty quick scoot, got a new stage  6motor for it but holding off until i get the stage crank and stage gears. changing everything on it.

Any suggestions on headlights would be awesome these just don't cut it

You should check out Cree lights for motorcycles. I think Brent has a write up on bulbs here somewhere.

You talking about the orange fan pulley? Which I bought only cause it was on clearance at scooter tunning ?

If it's an AC motor, you shouldn't be running it without the fan shroud.

Is that why it's running a little hot ? It's air cooled motor

Yeah it'll run hot without them. You're lucky it's winter time, otherwise you could have a melted motor on your hands. I would put them back on before you even think about starting it again.

Yeah, you need that shroud to direct air over the cylinder.

Very clean looking scoot.

LEDs may be effective in those housings. They didn't work out too well for me in standard headlight housings.

I meant to tell you that I thought that was a cool looking scoot. All those inlets, or whatever they are, make it look tough.

It's suppose to be winter here in florida it's like 80's putting the cover back on Thanks for letting me know that
