OK so tonight on my way home I noticed that my rps were through the roof 10k @ 30mph and when I use my turn blinkers my headlights blink as well. first think In my mind is a short somewhere but today on my way to work my rpms stayed at 6k @ 30mps and the lights did not blink wile using turn blinks. The weather tonight was much cooler then earlier and no rain 39degrees now and in the mid 40s before. Any Ideas as to what could be causing this be for I start hunting through wires. also here is a updated pic of my 50$ scoot I am not finished with the paint and the 2nd whitewall will be on soon rear bolt is being pesky.

:welcome2:
Sometimes a bad rectifier/regulator can cause interference between headlights and turn signals. Could be a short or something loose perhaps as well.
Is the scoot actually hitting those revs or is that just what the tach says? Some of the tachs on Chinese scoots aren't even tied to the ignition system, so if it doesn't sound like it's revving that high it could be another indication of something awry in the electrical system.

I did not seem to be reving as high as it was reading I will be taking it out for a test drive today to see if the problem happens again and start troubleshooting from there sux I work nights so most of the time I am a late night rider. I have doubles of most of my electrical parts so I will see what pops up. Thank you for the help and warm greetings :scoot2:

Well with no rain and dry cold weather the wacky problem still seems to be there as well as my light getting brighter and dimmer as I rev. I will be tracing wires looking for shorts as well as swapping my voltage reg with one of my back ups to see what pans out I would like to solve this riddle be4 I install my bbk

Def a good idea to fix existing issues before getting into a BBK. Keep us posted.
