I'm now thoroughly convinced that everyone browsing craigslist for scooters (present company excluded of course) is a discourteous lying turd with the IQ of a 2X4. The person was supposed to be here at noon. I went out at 11:30 and pushed the scoot under a shade tree so it's in plenty of light and where it's cool (and where no one needs to bump into my other scoots to look it over). I gave up at 1:15 and put it back in the garage.

Just to make things more fun, I sold the DrP variator, NCY TD, 3 new sets of clutch springs, 2 barely used contra springs, HOCA A9 cam that I added and adjustable sprocket to. Sold on eBay in a lot after no interest in the forum classifieds. Went for $21 + $15 shipping for near $300 worth of stuff. It's been 6 days and the buyer hasn't paid or made any form of contact. I'll be filing a non-paying bidder dispute tomorrow I'm guessing. I don't understand how everyone else sells parts for profit and flips scoots and I'm begging someone to take this stuff at a loss and failing at it. Gotta quote a Silverchair lyric here : "Only book that I own is called 'how to lose' Pick a chapter, I know them all, just choose"

Im thinking the reason they aren't paying is because they don't have the money and possibly assume your going to post it up again? And maybe by that time, they can actually pay for it lol. Maybe there stalling? Don't post it back on eBay! And give that guy a thumbs down. I'm pretty sure you can deny payment anyways if they have a bad history, can't you? Why don't you have a small BIDDING WAR on the forum 🙂 - I was a little curious about the dr pulley variator. Sounds like @kagatenshi is interested too.

None of that stuff will fit your scoot pinkflames420. I filed a non-paying bidder dispute, so they get 4 more days to pay now. Buyers can't get negative feedback, even when it's well deserved. The guy that has emailed me seemingly 50 times is supposed to be coming tomorrow early, like before 6AM. I told him it needs to be close to 6AM. Also told him no test ride around the yard as we discussed (if he put the full amount in my hand prior) because of the special circumstance of off hours that he requires. He said OK, but I need a date stamped video of it running and riding so I'm getting that uploaded for him now. Should be fun hanging out in the garage at 5AM hoping he didn't BS me. I'm expecting more bull of some sort, because everything has been a negotiation. |

It's 10:20PM now and he still doesn't know if he can get the van for early tomorrow yet. I told him I can't be up all night waiting for an answer if I need to be up early so if he can't lemme know for certain by 11PM, then find out for sure about the next day and let me know as early as possible. Seems like he wants it if it's all on the up and up, but he sucks at planning. EDIT : Yup. Now we're shooting for Wed morning. |

So, the dude was supposed to be here at 6AM today. Using the van was a go for him. Gave him directions to help in addition to his GPS. He's good to go.
I got up at quarter to five to be ready in case he was early. Paced around the garage till quarter after six. Got a message that he was really sorry, but he overslept and he's going to see if he can get the van for normal hours today somehow.
Does anyone have any sense of responsibility? Heard of an alarm clock... like the one I used to get my dumb ass up to wait for you to not show? I at least have to give him credit for messaging me when he was supposed to be here, rather than just being a no call/no show.

Lucass sadly I'm sure it's not a joke. That's just usually the norm when dealing with people on Craigslist here. You should post something there just to see. I've had to deal with buyers and sellers with the same behavior also.
