Here's all the stuff in a cart at Scrappy, other than the UNI. Had to add two 95 mains, I don't see 105. You can get jets elsewhere as cheap though... You can get a UNI for $20-30 shipped. So, he wants $230 and you could pick it up all new and shipped to you for $210 to $220.

Oh nice. By the time I got done looking up parts I forgot what the asking price was. Sorry about that. At that rate, it's a good deal if you were planning to buy this stuff. You could knock the CDI off unless yours actually has a rev limiter. Otherwise, it prob won't do anything. 190mech bought the 2T version of that CDI that also shows a timing curve on the label. His never moved from base timing IIRC, no curve at all. If you knock the CDI off the list you're looking at $170-180 new. If you want this stuff, I'd try to make a lower offer on it. It's not something that you need to snatch up though if you weren't planning on doing these mods. You can also get a similar BBK on eBay for $70 shipped. I don't think this or the eBay kit are made as well as NCY, but I think they're probably fine. Also, if you haven't read it before, the 50mm and larger kits may decrease longevity. Did for me, doesn't seem to for others. There's more info around here if you search or ask if you can't find it.

Yeah i noticed. Wow I wish that guy had a 47mm instead of a 50mm Who makes and carries THE BEST QUALITY 47MM BBK? ENVIRO? The stage 3 kit he has? I want to use the stock head, I hear there are advantages to that like obviously not having to buy another part plus the stock head keeps the compression up to a reasonably high but still streetable level. Look if anyone wants this and is willing to paypal me the money I will get it for you and then ship it to you at your cost on shipping but you would probably end up paying the same as if you bought it from scrappy or enviro yourself, just a thought, I was gonna offer him 150$

orrrrrrrrrrr maybe i could buy it and trade the 50mm for a 47? the jug and piston and rings that is. hmm thinkin' thinkin' Maybe I should just concentrate in tuning my cvt first. sliders and contra. Issue I am having is even at 50 degrees it hesitates terrible Until its fully warmed up and i mean i let it idle for a good 15 mins then on the stand rev the hell out of it vroooooom vrooooooooooooOOOOOOOMMMMmmmmm over and over to get it hot...then it goes ok. I guess it just dont like cold weather but 50 degrees? hell even 60. what gives? just the nature of the beast? I hate carbs, I was trained in fuel Injection diagnosis and repair. Once its hot it runs great and now that its getting run-in, i am getting slightly more power but wow it shifts early....as soon as i take off its not too long before im in high gear ...def. seems like some light slighters but i dont know what to get because i dont know whats in it. I plan to weigh them when I do the gearbox thats OTW. I just bought a gates powerlink for 20$ shipped and finally put my oil catch on. Had to buy a new feeler gauge and ring pliers since mine are nowhere to be found....probably down in the creek from the blast from the FD hose during the fire that blew all my tool to god knows where. ugh Also the other bike like mine I bougt COULD have been here today. They called me yesterday and wanted to bring it by today. the weather said today was gonna be a washout so I told them bring it on the 15 (next tues. which is the next time they will be in this area) Hasnt rained since early this am. nice day out, I could have the new bike here and ready to work on it this coming weekend which is supposedly going to be stellar. oh well. It will be here soon enough. Oh and the guy with the gearbox just did send it off from utah yesterday...after what...a week at least?

Enviro doesn't make the kits, just sells them. He sells some Naraku and NCY stuff, and both are said to be good quality. I had the 50mm NCY from Enviro, and it was definitely better quality than the no name 47mm kit I had. I don't know how much the quality is really gonna matter with these kits though. Even the one I got that came rusted (new) wasn't terrible. The piston didn't get all the way up in the bore so compression was a little lower, but not bad. If you use the stock head, low compression won't be an issue with even a 47mm kit unless it's way off.
You'd have to find out if anyone actually wanted to trade a new 47mm kit for a 50mm first. I'd think most folks that buy a 47mm want a 47mm though.
If the only issue is waiting for it to warm up to run well, check the enricher's operation first. Sounds like lighter rollers or sliders might be just what you need for the trans issue.

If the only issue is waiting for it to warm up to run well, check the enricher's operation first. Sounds like lighter rollers or sliders might be just what you need for the trans issue. If i dont touch the throttle during cranking, it starts and idles although up and down some (I suspect a valve adjustment will cure this..I am starting to hear some louder than normal valve tapping too) but nevertheless, idles. If I rev the throttle whatsoever, it dies and is a bitch to get cranked back up and i have the feather the gas to get it to eventually idle. This tells me the enricher is working but when I rev it, I assume it throws voltage to the enricher melting the wax inside of it and disengages but the carb is not yet warm enough to atomize the fuel properly to keep it running. I turned the idle up to help and it did. I also gave the A/F screw another half turn for a total of 3 complete turns. (Tryingto get some color on the plug.) Lesson learned....I will treat it like an FI car and wont give it any gas during cranking and just let the enricher do its job.
