i have the trans on my r4 tuned to my liking with a daywot variator and 7g dr p sliders.. the belt is 788 17 28, the scoot has 2000 miles on it, so i reckon to change the belt for the 2011. should i get a gates or just stick with the oem bando belt?

I'll take a Bando over any belt I've tried so far. When i was shredding Gates, and cheapies, left and right at one point I stuck a Bando on and it stopped totally. No more issues since. I'm sold.

I ordered a Motoforce belt just a few miles on it so far. MF71.16612 =788x17x28. It seems like it had diffrent size printed on the belt. Let me know if you find the Bando cheaper than $35 plus ship. Some reason I lost top speed and bought a MF belt to try. I may buy a Bando belt and see if it changes anything.

I had found an MRP store that was selling the Bandos for $28 or less plus ship. There's a ton of those stores though, and now I can't remember which it was.
