Its a little different with the 2T,s. I could have a 70cc cylinder with no power adders and a 21mm carb that makes 8hp. Or a 70cc cylinder and a 21mm carb that makes over 15hp with no power adders. With the 2t,s displacement doesnt mean as much as it does with the fours. Its all in the cylinder porting and timing. Just saying you could have a sleeper 70 with a high end cylinder that flat smokes the guys that can only afford 70cc sport cylinders . How can we work this out? Im willing to be a 2T inspection track official if we do get this sorted out. Who else would want such a job lol ?

Class 2 4 Stroke 100cc - 235cc Scooter Should be 100-215cc2a: 100-125cc Pro Should be 100-130ccDisplacement must not be larger than 125cc, no power adders. 2b: 150-170cc Pro Should be 130-170ccDisplacement must not be larger than 170cc, no power adders. 2c: 180-235cc Unlimited Should be170-215Displacement must not be greater than 235cc, power adders ok. Should be 215ccClass 3 2 Stroke 50cc-125cc Scooter Should be 50-130cc3a: 50cc Pro Displacement must not be larger than 50cc, no power adders. 3b: 72cc Pro Should be 75ccDisplacement must not be larger than 72cc, no power adders. 3c: 72cc-99cc Unlimited Should be 75-99ccDisplacement must not be larger than 99cc, power adders ok. 3d: 99cc-125cc Unlimited Should be 99-130ccDisplacement must not be larger than 125cc, power adders ok. Should be 130cc
I made allowances for "cleaning up" cylinders.
The reason I cut off the displacement limit at 215cc is that I know of no intermediate displacement scooter engines between 200 and 250cc. The 150 gy6 can be bored and stroked out to 187.04cc and a Piagggio Leader 200 can be fitted with a 210 bb kit. Otherwise you're getting into de-stroking a 250 and in that case 250cc might as well be the upper limit.
Now someone needs to tell me why I'm wrong.

Now someone needs to tell me why I'm wrong. Here is the motor that made me bump up the displacement. totalruckus.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=123&t=39303Also I see what your saying about a few of your suggestions. However 85cc is the max displacement that im aware of on the 4 stroke small displacement scooter. Ill make some modifications.

My bad, Jeremy, I think I had 2 strokes on my mind concerning that 50-85cc four stroke class. You're right. That would be a good displacement range for that class. Also I kind of expected there was a monster GY6 150-based motor that I was not aware of.
A killer motor could be made by welding up and regrinding most 250 cranks to alter the throw by only 1.25-1.50mm to get below that 235cc upper limit.... at least for a 244cc 4 valve Piaggio Leader engine anyway.
