Good stuff guys. I cant get enough Stangs thats for sure. Thanks for sharing, i will see what i have. Last summer my buddy took me for a ride in his 93LX (mint) with like 6?,000 miles. Its got a built DSS 306 with a Coan C-4, ita an N/A car but its gotta be putting about 400hp to the wheels. I was admiring how well everything worked together on that car (trans, motor, rearend etc) when he turned a corner onto a fairly busy road (not that night), he said "im gonna launch it using the T-brake". That was the first and only time i have been in a car that hung the front wheels! I couldnt believe it, i about shit! How the hell did you do that on the street with 10inch tires, i asked? He replied "it always hooks good there lol". I said "you have done that there before"? Shit, if i did that i would be thrown in jail before i got the car stopped. I did film it but the audio sucked, i will see if i still have it. If not, well thats just a good reason to get it out again this summer. I got to drive that car last year, it was a blast. It was the only time ive had somebody bitch for takin it easy on their car. He said "quit shiftin lazy, its hard on the drivetrain". His car has a reverse manual valve body in the trans, so ya gotta shift it and i was taking it easy between shifts sometimes. Thats why he said something, it shifts so crisp and quick that its actually harder on the drivetrain to shift off the throttle than on it. He told me when he first got the trans in the car he broke a u-joint from "taken it easy" lol. So ya know what i did lol, i wanted to flog the beast anyhow i was just being respectful.

I've always wanted to do a wheelstand on the street for some reason. Never had the chance to ride in anything doing that yet. The green stang coulda done it, but it turned into a trailer queen. Now he wouldn't hook on the street anyway, it barely does on the track.

Heres a few old pics i found of some of old rides. only one was a show car. The rest just daily drivers, some ugly most fast ;D My 83GT sleeper with my son Paxton on hood, the car was ugly and nobody expected 12,s out of it with the stock long block. This would have been 2004 i believe The interer was out of a 89LX 5.0 Just a stock 302 (kinda) And these two are why i dont drink and drive anymore . Power shift into 3rd sideways with a car that i setup to go straight being waisted drunk= totalled stang + lucky to be alive

Im lucky to be alive after that one . It was a stupid mistake that could have killed me, and did total my car that i dumped allot of money into. I got lucky as far as the drive train went, it was fine. I actually had to shut the car off after i wrecked it. It rolled 3 times, threw me out on the first roll and by the looks of the roof im glad it did. I think the only thing that saved me from bad injury was the fact that i landed in a soft muddy field. I remember getting off the ground and walkin about 25or 30 yards to the car that was right side up, against a telephone pole with the passenger side about 3ft in the air, and it was still running . I reached through were the windshield was and shut it off. I did hit my head pretty hard cause i got knocked out, but thats not what changed me for life....Its not easy on the soul to total out a Stang, i would not recommend it to anyone.

I love 'Stangs. I used to be an artist for a long gone Ford magazine called Super-Ford. You can still see them on E-Bay. Here is a sample of the stuff I used to draw for them whenever they needed filler or stuff for an article or advertisement. I tried to put some other stuff up but the file size was too big, so this half-chopped pic will have to do--- but you get the picture . . .

Nice ride Pony.
Thunderkat, that's really cool. I thought Super Ford just turned into 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords.

Yep, nice Pony... Glad this thread aint dead. Here is my buddy,s other project. He bought it almost complete but disassembled. It was an ongoing project that the previous owner never finished. I remember this car from early 2000,s. He took a day off highschool and drove to MD. Bought the car and drove it all the way back home. It was orange then. Bright "Duke Luke orange.
Its sounds subtle to say the least in this vid. It was literally the first start.

Never been to any VA car shows. Only put it in one show years ago and that was local. 1st in class 73-Present Modified. ;D
I used to say there are just too many stangs around till my mother got one and I drove it. I sold my Firebird and bought my 90 within a few months. lol
