I feel you're pain. I've come to the point that I have extra motor for every gy6-motor I have and extra parts for wearables. I've one china motor with 82cc from year -04 and it's still working like beauty. Something changed last ten years. the motor is great , just that every bbk scoot i have owned and rode the kick start always strips the splines on the shaft or the idler breaks teeth. The starter always blows and the battery never have enough amps . all in all for any one looking to bbk on a Chinese scoot durability on the starting components suffer because of the higher compression

scooter is going to be down for a few weeks, so just to keep posting scoot stuff here is a drawing I made called Chinese Scoot. thanks for looking. might have it made into a sticker for the scoot when its back on the road.

So after having no luck with the starter and kick start and case cracking because of kick start i have been down for a few weeks till today when i actually decided to start it with a socket and drill on variator. It worked flawlessly. Can anyone say NHRA top fuel dragster steez? LMAO
