And here's number 3 to my stable. Waiting to hear if the prior owner found the title in the next few days. If I get the title then I'll have a 3rd build thread to start. If not then I have a set of Yamaha cases to build for Becky. Ok ok I've kept you in suspense long enough. I just bought for $100 a 2008 Yamaha Zuma. So far the kicker skipped when I tried to kick it. So it may be seized. It has 12,152 miles on the clock and still has all the emissions crap on it and a stock limited travel carb. Gonna open it up a little bit either today or tomorrow and see what is or isn't wrong with it. Nice I have the 100cc bws great little scooter I thought the small rims and off road tyres would be a pain but nice to ride around town just doesnt like hard cornering in wet lol as I found out lucky I rode dirt bikes for 30 years lol I have a 9 port alloy kit to put on it take it to 128cc 14hp with 28mm carb but i to have 3 bikes on the go so I'll just keep stock while fixing up other 2 lol good to see another bws what ever size lol

It wasn't today, but they shipped today.. I ordered a 50mm BBK (includes matching head), 20mm carb, gears, performance variator, 6 different weights of rollers and some other odds and ends. I hope it's enough that I can maintain 30mph up this one hill... currently I can only hit 15mph.

Yasuni exhaust, rollers, and jets for the typhoon. That's the problem buying something that's not Yamaha. Different size rollers. And I have loads of jets. But not small enough for a bike with just an exhaust upgrade.

Ordered a full front brake system for a speedfight 3. It's a gamble. But could it be a cheap source for four piston radial calipers? Time will tell.

Well I've gone and done it again. No title, needs work but it's another 2 stroke. Appears to be a CPI Oliver. Brings my total to 4 (5 If I count the gmw rx50 I have in the weeds). With Becky and Kym being the only legal ones. The zuma and the cpi will be buildable spares for Becky and maybe a 2T swap for Kym. Oh the possibilities EDIT Just got "Oliver" home. 2005 CPI Oliver City. Factory non emissions assuming 1e40qmb(can't see the tag with the rear fender on). Speedo is in miles. And odo reads 850 miles. Been sitting in a garage for about 10 years. Wish it had a title since it's a big frame scooter.

Ordered a nylon bush like thing for ET150 build. Good job read Haynes manual which mentioned about the decompression unit not to overlook it. Couldn't find it on the trolley or floor. Hopefully not dumped itself in crankcase, still could be worse could be a piston clip 😊

I was going to mention it in your build thread but another shiney object distracted me. Good catch.

Don't joke about things in engines. My mate two weeks ago, on a track day. oil light came on. He has had the bike about eight months, and a 1,000 miles. Triumph Daytona brought used from a dealer. When he investigated it had a little aluminium piece in the oil way. The exhaust, clutch and sump had all been off recently. We think the previous owner had done the valves. Then dropped a rocker cover pin into the engine. Taken it all apart. Couldn't find it so traded it in to a dealer.

Hope not to painful surgery tomorrow and all heals quickly.
