FrankenMech It gets stranger, these came from a seller in the US that has shipped 12K items with 100% positive feedback. The box was laid out with an ink pen, the corners were cut out with scissors and it was precision folded. There was perfectly sized and folded brown paper tape applied to the corners. I am pretty sure the tape came from one of those old dispensers that has a lever you pull and a sponge that wets the glue on the tape.. The top was sewn on like a pie crust by a 2 thread machine, red for the top thread and white for the bottom thread. All cardboard used to make it was repurposed from other boxes. Super eco friendly? Not so fast, they used foam peanuts for filler! WTF

I may stop at the local shoe repair shop...
Maybe recycled foam peanuts?
I have used one of those tape machines countless times.

Turned out the Polini cylinder I ordered is the correct AC one. For some reason the pic on the box is a LC one and that is just a bad idea. Crazy Italians.

My cylinder had a picture of a liquid cooled cylinder on the box. I just checked the part number. Sounds like an Italian thing to do!

Tried to order 4 wheel bearings for the front wheel, so I would have enough to do two front wheels. Somehow managed to order 4 sets. At least they were a pretty good deal and look to be quality bearings.

I'd gladly pay an extra $1 to have to correct pics on the boxes. Would make it a lot less confusing

The other thing you get with polini In a brand new variator you always have a greasy fingerprint. Must be from hand assembly into the boxes.

The secret cylinder arrived! One of our dogs and the cat are checking it in now. Harley (the dog) is disappointed that it's just more scooter parts and nothing for him.
