Tried to order 4 wheel bearings for the front wheel, so I would have enough to do two front wheels. Somehow managed to order 4 sets. At least they were a pretty good deal and look to be quality bearings. I got some hybrids ceramic off Ebay work great

The other thing you get with polini In a brand new variator you always have a greasy fingerprint. Must be from hand assembly into the boxes. Didn't have that problem with mine.... or I did and never looked. could go either way honestly.

I clean everything up before installation to get rid of abrasive particles, problem lubricants, unwanted chemicals, etc.

gears arrived!
Now I just gotta figure out how to install them since there's no instructions....
Time to browse that YouTube channel. Going to wait to put them in until I get the Vino running well. Still having tuning issues. Doesn't help that I never have a full day to dedicate to it.
Also the post office says the gaskets for the CV80 were delivered but I have no deliveries from them from yesterday. Checked with the neighbors and they didn't get the package either

What's the chance of the postman having a CV80? Gears are not so bad to do. Just keep a lookout for any shims, and where they go.

Wooo! 370 bucks has never made me so happy. Completely redoing and refreshing my 155 custom scoot, which entails- *Scooterworks pipe (and new exhaust gasket) *A 28mm PWK (not sure if it'll like a 4 stroke, but we'll see~) *New factory clutch (gonna throw some 1500 rpm springs in her until i get the polini) *some adjustable rear shocks *some stickers and paint for a custom job i think will look good Doing her right this time. Not gonna rig it

I'd be surprised if our mailman even knew what a scooter was honestly. Ya never know though! I've had issues before where they marked it as delivered and it shows up a day or 2 later so I'm holding out hope it shows up today.
Do I need a press for the gears or do the slide right on in? (with the proper amount of lube of course)

I pulled the trigger on the Yasuni Z I was looking at along with springs and jets.
Currently hovering over the buy button on a Malossi 72cc kit. Keep telling myself "One thing at a time, man. One thing at a time." LOL!
I like bargain hunting and I get excited about buying stuff for the bike. 😂
