The miracles of the internet and Amazon. I was working on the Pink scoot to get it road ready and the turn signals were dead. I found the flasher relay and un plugged it and plugged it back in and all the lights cam on but no flashy-flashy. I pulled my phone and went to Amazon and a new Glixal will be here tomorrow. No more opening a catalog and searching through for the correct one. Then calling the company and ordering over the phone then waiting a few weeks to have it show up.
How did we ever get anything done.

Slime makes a mess in your tire and will ruin pressure gauges. It is better to locate the leak and repair it.

As FrankenMech say's I have just cleaned up two rims with that muck on. A plug kit is much better and comes with air cylinders as well.

Got another Kymco Agility 50 on Friday. 4500 kms, has a title but it needs some work. The horn and e start buttons dont seem to work. Kicker works but the motor doesn't seem like it has much compression. It puffs threw the exhaust so it's got something. What I know about the bike is it's been sitting in a garage for the last 2bor 3 years not being used. But "ran when parked"

I'm always losing 1 or 3 CVT bolts on my scoots. On the Piaggios scoots the bolts are all the same so not a problem. On the ET2 they are all restated and look like crap. They want $2.60 each for OEM bolts and I'm too cheap so I went looking for a m6X35 flanged bolt with an 8mm head and fond them here for $3.44 for 10. boltmotorcyclehardware.com/products/m6-hex-flange-bolts?variant=31134158782508. I suspect they have more nuts and bolts for our scooters that are hard to find at normal hardware stores. I'll update you on how it goes.

Last week bought a 1958 Allstate Supercruisaire
Got a new kickstart lever for it since the splines on the original lever were toast. New one doesn't fit. Ordered it from Scooterswest and it said it would fit but it don't. The screw used to clamp it sits like a D. Where the round part of the D is the circle for the crank and the | part is the bolt. It cuts into the circle making it so the lever can't slide over the crank. sigh. I think that motor may be toast anyways so it may be a moot point. Still soaking the cylinder in penetrating oil to try to break the seize.
Soon I'll be buying lots of old Vespa bits though!
