Paul,I,ve used a polini variator for a few years now it,s good stuff, the instruction book is swahiliitalian leave yourself some wiggle time to figure the reality from the theory. Geoff I have used the old Polini variator, and the Hi speed versions before. This is their latest one with 19x15.5mm rollers, not the usual 16x13mm rollers. I'm hoping it's an improvement. Time will tell. 🙈

You think a scooter shop would know the difference. 🤦

Theres a test I do to find out how much ethanol is in the fuel. U got my brain thinking I wonder if u can remove the ethanol from fuel. The test goes like this. Take a container and mark 10 lines put water up to first line and gas to the top line. Shake it up and let it sit. What happens is the water and ethanol stick together and separate from the fuel. The lines are used to get the percentage but not important for what I'm thinking after it sits u got a separation of fuel and the ethanol and water I'm wondering if one could do this and extract the fuel which will have no ethanol bc its mixed and separated. If I rember correctly the water and ethanol float at the top and gas settles on bottom devise a way to drain the bottom portion of gas until u get to the separation line and stop. Not 100 percent this will work out but its something to think about
