I've used these for decades, just posted them in another thread. They work well, but yes expensive. Soldering/crimping is better IMO, but these are great for testing or for field repairs. You really can't beat them for a reusable tool free connector.

All DIYers should have a tap and die set!! Including myself ... lol. I borrow mine, but I definitely need to get my own and a DREMEL... With the 90deg attachment for porting
