I have been looking to buy the exact flywheel tool for my 2014 tao tao atm50 50cc scooter. I have bought one that is too large. Does anyone know where to buy one that actually fits? If anyone has the diameter of the thread on the puller that can help me please send me info. Thank you.

There is a universal tool like a lug nut spinner for $25.00 on www.trendtimes.com that might be good if you dont know what size you need.

Your best bet is to get a 24mm internal flywheel puller. Screw it all the way in and smack the center a few times with a hammer. Tighten up the center pin and smack it again. Do this about every 1/8 of a turn. This will help get the flywheel loose.

I work at a shop and I have two of these type so I can pull a GY6 50cc or a 150cc flywheel with the same tool. The second one is a backup in case I lose the first one. The 50cc's are a 24mmx1mm right hand thread and the 150's are a 27mmx1mm left hand thread. I use an impact on the puller and it pops them off like butter. If you don't have an impact and the flywheel is stubborn, then tighten the tool till there is a lot of pressure on it and then tap the tool on the end with a small hammer and that will sometimes pop the flywheel loose. You can also tap the flywheel itself on the outer edge to coax it loose. www.ebay.com/itm/24mm-27mm-Magneto-Flywheel-Puller-for-GY6-50cc-125cc-150cc-ATV-Scooter-139QMB-/331790166820?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

I'm kinda in a jam with this and idk what to do other than cut it off with a zip disc....

Heating may help. There are also jaw pullers that can hook around the back of the flywheel. Some of the jaw pullers may not fit back there though.

Tried 3 different size jaw pullers. None would fit.
