I went back to Scooterz INC in Raleigh www.scooterzinc.com/ to try and get my money back for the polini jets they sold me for my stock 139qmb carb. The guy who grabbed them out of the box, as it turns out, has only been there..well at that time, 1 week  As soon as I walk in I see not a soul and hear this hammer in the back part (the "shop") WHACK, WHACK, WHACK!! I guess something wasnt running right :lol: Out walks the same dude. I pull out the polini jets and the #88 that RD sent me, the comparison is striking. The polini jets are HUGE compared to the little 139qmb stock carb jets (its an 18mm carb right?). So he looks at them and another dude comes out and looks at them. I said "Id like to return these Jets, you can see that they are obviously the wrong ones. Plus I asked for an 85 and 88 and these are an 89 and 88. The first dude goes THAT IS AN 85, I AM THE ONE THAT WENT BACK THERE AND GOT THEM FOR YOU! WoW. I said look I appreciate your help and all but just take a magnifying glass and look at the numbers, One is an 89 not an 85. He looked really pissed when I said , Yes i remember you going to get them and with all due respect, you got the wrong ones but no big deal just give me the $14 back and no harm, no foul. He walked back into the shop area and continued with the WHACK WHACK WHACK on god knows what. The 2nd dude just gave me $14 cash (I paid with a card and they usually put it back on the card), said "sorry" and went on back into the shop. They have some sweet bikes there and an impressive website but, Dont go there looking for any parts or good customer service because you will not get it, at least not over $14. |

speaking of scooterz inc in Raleigh.... raleigh.craigslist.org/mcy/2288680721.htmlMODIFY 4.11.2011- The post above has been deleted but it was a scoot for sale, with a gas can under the seat for a tank. Scooterz Inc. "lost" his gas tank and claimed they could not find the right one to replace it so they just put a nipple in a 1 gallon gas can and said "sorry" :/ |

So you are saying that I only dealt with ONE person the day I brought them back? Incorrect. You might be the person who took the money out of the cash register (person #2 as stated above) and gave it to me but you are NOT the person who got the jet out of the back and gave it to me (person #1 as stated above) which was the wrong one. Also, you are accusing me of switching the jets? I would not lie and switch the jets and claim its the one I was given, I do not need 14 bucks that bad (which is an outrageous price I might add) And then lie to all my friends here too? Never. If this is the way you do business, I do not see your shop lasting but good luck to you. |
