My wife has a hard time to find a name or explanation for the leather part that you can see in the following image. So I would like to ask you, native English speaking guys what you would call this leather thing that you see at the rear.

Clasp or buckle. I'd call it a clasp because it's on your wrist, but it looks like a buckle that you would find on a belt... I think, because I'm on my tablet so not 100 percent sure.

What part of the body does that go on? Like Spaz said if it goes on the wrist its a clasp/bracelet. Around the neck it's a choker(wife has a few of those). hard to say for sure with out any scale it against.
