Today I washed it, repositioned the plastics on the handlebars a bit, and that's about it. It rides pretty well now, especially compared to when I got it. I noticed my speedo stopped working and took the end off the puck. Broke in the same way the cable it came with did. Probably because the cable off the Peace I used was a bit longer and had to bend at the bottom. If anyone has one of these speedo cables off a Tao Tao or other scooter, I'll buy it.   |

 Tested out the exhaust paint I bought today on the Tao Tao muffler. Looks good, apart from the still rusty chrome bits. Swapped the front wheels between the Tao Tao and Peace Sports after the pic. Also turns out that the "go skate" sticker on the front is to cover up a hole of some sort.. |

Okay so, the guy came and looked all over the scooter. Even licked the oil off the dipstick. Offered $200 and I declined simply because of how many people I've had contact me interested in this pile of crap awesomeness. Got another guy coming tomorrow to look at it. In the meantime I've secured the dash better so it doesn't move around so much and I've realized that I kept forgetting to reattach the carb drain line to the CVT bolt.. So I'll do that tomorrow. Also secured the front of the seat with zipties since the plastic bits that go around the hinge on the bucket were broken off, so now it actually hinges up like it's supposed to instead of falling off when the latch is unlocked. Zipties are awesome.

If you want to check the fuel level at night, just put the blinker on!
The Tao dash has two blinker lights and the Peace dash only has one light. So, yeah.. Laziness..

SOLD for 250 whole dollars. That's 150 profit. It's something.
Gave him some of the rear plastics from my Peace Sports so he could try and fix the busted bit too.
